Power to the Puppets! – Roughcut

A group of radical puppeteers strive to make art that will help New York City’s labor force reclaim May 1st as the true worker’s holiday. Formed during the occupation of Zuccotti Park in 2011,The People’s Puppets of Occupy Wall Street not only want to make art that sends a message, but also build community and democratize the the creative process itself. Yet other projects and activists compete for their time and energy.
